The images here depicted:  The Fish, Rowing, Roma, Trinity and Girl with Braids II, existed as paintings long before they appeared on book covers.  In the case of Rowing, for instance, Baris Ilhan of Ilhan Publishing ( Istanbul, Turkey) had contacted me through my website.  Having followed my work for a couple of years, she felt this image suited one of her upcoming publications, Ruhsal Rehberim Yanimda (a translation of The Portable Pilgrim) by psychologist, Susanna McMahon.   As with all these paintings which have appeared on covers, there is something very rewarding in seeing how an image translates into another medium and functions in a new capacity.​
